Intern – Customer Service & Office Support


ROLE DESCRIPTION
Our agency is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented intern to assist with customer service and general office support. This part-time opportunity is ideal for college students interested in gaining real-world office experience while building communication, organization, and customer service skills.

You’ll work 2–3 days per week, helping our team support clients and keep daily operations running smoothly. No insurance license is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist with payment reminders and routine customer follow-up.
  • Help prepare and issue certificates of insurance under agency procedures and staff guidance.
  • Organize paperwork, maintain records, and assist with data entry.
  • Support basic marketing activities and customer communications.
  • Assist with general office tasks and administrative projects.
  • Direct insurance coverage questions and sales inquiries to licensed team members.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional approach.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable using computers and learning office software.
  • Dependable and available to work 2-3 days per week.
  • Willingness to learn and assist with a variety of tasks.
  • Bilingual English and Mandarin Chinese skills are a plus.
  • College students are encouraged to apply.
GROWTH OPPORTUNITY
For someone who demonstrates strong customer communication skills and an interest in sales, there may be an opportunity to transition into a full-time sales position in the future, subject to licensing requirements.
Compensation $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
